We have an excellent opportunity to join a leading privately owned Regional Construction company based in Basildon, Essex. This well-established company has an excellent reputation within the industry with a very high staff retention rate.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects including:

  • Hospitals and medical facilities (Private and NHS)
  • Schools
  • Student accommodation
  • Office developments throughout London and the South East

Values up to £10m

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control costs on projects
  • Understand and advise on contractual and technical terms
  • Submit monthly applications for payment
  • Work with site teams to manage costs and maximize value
  • Order materials, plant, and subcontract works
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement
  • Development of trainees

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in cost control techniques
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
