Our client, a specialist Frame Sub-Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex reinforced concrete (RC) frame packages on high-profile developments, is seeking two experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors to support commercial delivery on major schemes in the Oxford area.

These are high-value, technically complex projects within the science and research sectors, secured and set to run for at least two years on-site.

The Role:

You will be a key part of the commercial team, responsible for managing and controlling project costs throughout delivery. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with a leading contractor group on some of their flagship developments.

Responsibilities include:

• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
• Cost planning and financial reporting
• Valuations, variations, and change control
• Contract administration (JCT)
• Cost/value reconciliation and risk management
• Supporting site and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor role
• RC Frame experience is essential
• Experience with subcontractor procurement and package management
• Strong understanding of cost/value management and commercial risk
• Background in large-scale commercial, industrial, or research/laboratory-type projects is advantageous
• Able to work collaboratively with clients, project teams, and subcontractors
