Group Strategic Analytics is part of the Group COO, bridging Bank’s businesses and infrastructure to enhance efficiency, control, and transformation.
You will join the Debt Strats team within Group Strategic Analytics, responsible for delivering platforms for quantitative problems in Investment Banking trading. You will be part of the IRiS Intraday Risk and P&L application team, used by over 200 traders globally, providing intraday risk and P&L for Rates, Credit, and Emerging Markets trading desks.
The team comprises business analysts, Java and C# engineers, platform engineers, and testers, using JIRA for tracking deliveries.
Server-side development involves Java, Oracle Coherence, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle Exadata, Solace, and JMS, on Redhat Linux servers.
Your responsibilities include developing risk and P&L functionality in Java, analyzing, designing, coding, and supporting features across trade sourcing, market data, static data, trade valuation, risk, and P&L calculations, with a focus on performance optimization.
