Job summary

F. Schumacher & Co is seeking a hands-on Senior Quantitative Analyst for Product Portfolio analytics. You will own analytics and reporting for SKU productivity and capital allocation across 20,000+ SKUs, reporting to the Sr. Director of AI & Data Insights and collaborating with the CEO and Chief of Staff.

You will distinguish signal from noise, fix data issues in Snowflake, and present actionable insights to executives to guide portfolio expansion, contraction or shift.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in data science, analytics or statistics in SKU-driven businesses.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Ability to present findings to senior executives and adapt messaging.
• Independent executor who sets priorities and ships high-impact work.
• Curiosity to investigate why numbers look the way they do and dig deeper.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CEO and Product Strategy to address key questions with analytics.
• Apply statistical methods (e.g., conjoint analysis, regression) to drive portfolio decisions.
• Control for stock-outs, new/discontinued SKUs, and seasonality to reflect true trends.
• Identify and correct data inconsistencies at source (ERP, web, product master).
• Present findings clearly to executives, tailoring for technical or non-technical audiences.
• Develop recurring analytics and reporting to snapshot SKU productivity.
• Employ AI/ML within workflows to automate repetitive analysis.
