Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group in London is seeking a Senior Analyst in Quantitative Research & Development to develop Python and SQL based research tools and analytics for index methodologies.

You will work across datasets such as Worldscope, IBES, Lipper, Datastream and Refinitiv Workspace, applying automated QA, AI-enabled workflows and robust data validation while supporting research and client requests.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quantitative development, financial data analytics or related discipline.
• Strong hands-on Python and SQL skills with experience in data analysis and research.
• Familiarity with pandas, NumPy, Git and modern development tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain Python and SQL-based research tools and data pipelines.
• Perform data analysis, validation and quality assurance across large financial datasets.
• Develop automation and AI-enabled tools to improve research and workflows.
• Support index research, methodology development and rebalances.
