AM Global is seeking a seasoned Quality & Welding Engineer for our client based in Blyth. This permanent role is 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home.

You will provide specialist technical assurance for welding, fabrication, and inspections across the supply chain, ensuring compliance with codes and contractual requirements while supporting the Quality function with procedures and continuous improvement when not on project scopes.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Professional certifications such as IWE or CWEng.
• Weld inspection experience (CSWIP 3.2 preferred).
• Willingness to travel – significant time in Poland until ~March 2027.

Mansioni

• Welding & Fabrication Quality Assurance: issue or co-sign NCRs; act as technical focal point for welding & fabrication quality; review and approve WPS, PQR/WPQR, and Welder Qualifications; verify documentation meets contractual, regulatory, and client requirements; witness inspections per ITP; hold point authorization for ITP inspections; provide welding quality input during tender, contract review, and handover; support ITP-related definitions.
