Job summary

Eaton's South Molton site seeks a Product Safety and Quality Assurance lead to drive SMS compliance, safety reporting, and process improvement. You will manage the SMS, lead QA personnel, and coordinate regulatory audits for aerospace components.

Qualifications

• Experience with ISO9001, CAA Part 21G, AS9100 or equivalent certification regimes.
• Ability to lead QA personnel and drive performance through Pay & Progression processes.
• Six Sigma/8D/root cause analysis and associated statistical tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Safety Management System (SMS) in compliance with CAA Part 21G requirements.
• Develop, review and update SMS procedures and documentation; ensure effective business integration.
• Facilitate Safety Review Boards (SRB) and Safety Action Groups (SAG).
• Produce safety performance reports for senior leadership.
• Lead quality data collection, analysis and reporting in support of quality assurance.
• Organise safety campaigns, training, and awareness programmes.
• Promote Just Culture and positive reporting culture.
• Support audits by regulators and customers; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist product development and launch with testing and reliability analysis.
