Job summary

First Military Recruitment is seeking a Senior Quality Manager for a Swindon depot. The role involves leading quality planning, audits, and supplier reviews within a major infrastructure environment.

Based in Swindon, the position offers a £75,000 base plus a £5,750 car allowance, with pension matched up to 8% and extensive benefits including private medical insurance and substantial leave. 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Extensive quality management experience in construction, engineering or infrastructure.
• Experience delivering ISO 9001 audits and coaching teams.
• Strong knowledge of document control and EDMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality plans and documentation for bids and project start up.
• Lead internal audits and support external audits.
• Maintain nonconformity logs and drive corrective actions.
• Coach staff on quality practices and lead improvement projects.
• Perform supplier reviews and supply chain quality activities.
• Mobilise new projects and deputise for Head of Quality.
• Promote nuclear safety culture and cross-team collaboration.
• Review quality performance on active projects.
