Job Title: CMM Quality Inspector

Our client is a leading engineering and manufacturing company based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. Due to increased demand in the manufacturing department and Quality Control, they are looking for an experienced CMM Quality Inspector.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform inspections, including 1st off, patrol, and outgoing.
2. Assist in the effective management of the measurement and test equipment calibration system.
3. Program CMMs in line with company standards.
4. Set up adjustable MTE for use by manufacturing operators.
5. Compile routine final inspection trend analysis and reports.
6. Prepare inspection report templates.
7. Raise and follow up on QA NCRs.
8. Compile and submit various customer documentation packs.
9. Communicate with customers.

Essential Attributes and Desirable Experience:

• Good knowledge of programming CMMs.
• Knowledge of QMS system is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Inspection Techniques:

• Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings and determine appropriate measuring techniques.
• Ability to produce credible management reports.
