Job summary

Circle is a remote-first company seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to embed quality across its AI-powered platform. You’ll partner with Engineering, Product and Design to shape quality from early ideation through delivery and release.

As part of a global, async team, you’ll employ Playwright, TypeScript and modern tooling to automate tests, investigate failures and improve release confidence. Join a collaborative team delivering high-quality experiences for creators, coaches and businesses.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal English; CEFR C2 or equivalent.
• Strong web test automation experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Good knowledge of API and integration testing.
• Strong exploratory and risk-based testing skills.
• Ability to read code and debug complex issues.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
• Strong product judgement and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Partner with multiple product teams across different areas of Circle.
• Get involved early in product, design and engineering discussions.
• Identify meaningful product, technical and customer risks.
• Shape testing approaches based on change and impact.
• Build and maintain automated test coverage for web, APIs, and integrations.
• Investigate complex failures across app, APIs, CI pipelines.
• Improve testability and development feedback loops.
