Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Senior/Project Quality Engineer to work with the PMT and PQM to establish and sustain an effective Quality Management System for a Capenhurst nuclear-site expansion. You will drive KPIs, root-cause analyses, supplier audits, and continuous improvement across engineering, procurement, and construction processes.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 8–14 years relevant experience.
• Experience with QA, ISO standards and project quality management.
• Proven data analysis, problem solving and risk assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Project Quality Management System (QMS) and quality programs.
• Lead quality initiatives and coordinate with PMT and stakeholders.
• Establish and monitor project KPIs/Metrics and drive corrective actions.
• Plan and participate in quality and technical audits by clients, management or regulators.
• Support in reviews (KASE, constructability, Model) and close out action items.
• Conduct RCA/ACE analyses as required.
• Review material/service requisitions, supplier submittals and bid evaluations.
• Pre-qualify and evaluate suppliers/contractors; conduct audits as needed.
• Capture and implement lessons learned during project execution.
• Manage the corrective action program and contribute to QA reports.
