Job summary

Progressive Global Energy is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support a major UK nuclear programme in its final delivery phase. The role requires ownership of QA activities including ITP/LTQR review, documentation packs, and supplier quality oversight.

Ideal candidates will have strong nuclear industry experience, be able to work independently, and possess SC Clearance (preferred). Initial 6-month contract with ASAP start in England, United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing ITPs, LTQRs and manufacturing record packs.
• Knowledge of Nuclear Quality Graded Approach and QC classifications (QC1, QC2, QC3).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Current or prior SC Clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
• Review Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs).
• Review Manufacturing Record Books and Quality Dossiers.
• Ensure documentation packages are complete and compliant prior to dispatch.
• Review supplier quality documentation and certification.
• Review supplier ITPs and inspection records.
• Support internal NCR investigations and reviews.
• Participate in client quality meetings where required.
• Support final quality release and acceptance activities.
• Experience in the nuclear industry and strong quality engineering background.
