Job summary

Our Client in Bridgwater, UK is seeking a Quality Management Lead (Install) to safeguard quality across a major nuclear infrastructure programme. You will drive quality across the full lifecycle from contract award through commissioning and close-out.

The role requires leadership, QA/QC expertise, and strong stakeholder management within multidisciplinary teams. You will implement CQAPs, PQCPs, LTQR reviews, and coordinate audits with supply chain partners to ensure compliance and continuous

Qualifications

  • HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within a Quality environment.
  • Strong Quality Assurance and Quality Control experience.
  • Background in the nuclear sector or another safety-critical industry.
  • Proven leadership experience within complex project environments.
  • Experience developing and implementing quality management solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience working within multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of project quality requirements across the full project lifecycle.
  • Review, approve and monitor Contractor Quality Assurance Plans (CQAPs).
  • Develop and maintain Project Quality Control Plans (PQCPs).
  • Coordinate supply chain audits and drive timely resolution of findings.
  • Ensure compliance with quality specifications, records and release requirements.
  • Lead Lifetime Quality Records (LTQR) reviews and implementation activities.
  • Build effective relationships with contractors, inspection agencies and project stakeholders.
  • Oversee manufacturing surveillance and inspection programmes.
  • Coordinate the review and acceptance of manufacturing and quality documentation.
  • Support quality release activities and the delivery of end-of-manufacturing records.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Management professional to make a tangible impact on a major nuclear project. Working across the full project lifecycle, you will help ensure quality requirements are achieved from contract award through to commissioning and close-out.

Joining a collaborative and supportive environment, you will work closely with project, delivery, and supply chain teams to drive quality excellence, influence key stakeholders, and contribute to the successful delivery of critical infrastructure.
