Job summary

Terex is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer at Ballymoney to lead quality initiatives and ensure customer quality standards are met. You will guide the site quality team, develop and implement quality strategies, and liaise with customers and suppliers to improve overall quality performance.

The role requires extensive experience in quality management within manufacturing environments, with emphasis on leadership, KPI interpretation, and improvement initiatives across all departments.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Quality Management Systems.
• Experience in manufacturing environments including fabrication, paint and assembly.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and components desirable.
• Track record of people management.
• Ability to lead strategic and quality management in a global manufacturing organization.
• Ability to interpret system reports and KPIs.
• Ability to work with suppliers to improve quality.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the quality management strategy.
• Develop and maintain systems to establish standards for activities and products.
• Develop and maintain systems to measure performance against standards.
• Monitor performance and communicate/advise/assist as needed.
• Implement communication strategies for quality awareness across departments.
• Report on changes in standards and performance.
• Assist with managing department performance through appraisal and review.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers when required.
