Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer for Birmingham, offering around £50k plus generous benefits. You will lead a team of quality inspectors, ensuring aerospace products meet customer requirements, AS9100 standards and regulatory demands.

You will drive CAPA, RCA and continuous improvement, partnering with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain to optimise processes and prevent defects, while leading audits and maintaining QMS compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading quality teams in aerospace manufacturing
• Lead Auditor qualification or QBE is desirable
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 QMS and AS9102 FAI
• Proven capability in RCA and CAPA
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Quality Inspectors and Technicians to drive prevention-focused quality culture
• Ensure products conform to engineering drawings, specs and customer requirements
• Lead investigations into non-conformances and drive CAPA actions
• Support continuous improvement to reduce COPQ and defects
• Coordinate internal, supplier and customer quality audits and maintain QMS compliance
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues
