Join the Team Powering the Future of Digital Credentials!

Accredible, the world’s leading digital credential platform, is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to help us ship higher-quality releases, faster, smarter and with more confidence - every improvement you make will help to empower millions of learners and professionals around the globe!

As an experienced Senior Quality Engineer, you’ll work with cross-functional teams collaborating during technical design discussions to embed testing into the development process from day one. You’ll guide teams in defining meaningful acceptance criteria, ensure automated end-to-end tests are built within sprints, and support occasional manual testing to inform ongoing improvements to our test suite and strategy.

You’ll also play a key role in our Quality Engineering (QE) working group, where you’ll help shape and evolve our overall testing approach. Your insight will directly influence how we distribute test responsibilities across teams and how we continuously raise the bar on quality.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to our QE Manager, you’ll be working alongside another passionate quality engineer. While we’ll support your success every step of the way, you’ll have the freedom, autonomy, and ownership to make this role your own. These are just some of the impactful challenges you’ll tackle:

  • Working with the team to enhance our automation framework.
  • Adding tests to our E2E test suite to continuously improve test coverage.
  • Assisting other engineers in running and contributing to the test suite.
  • You will contribute to functional manual tests where necessary.
  • You will be part of a cross functional Agile team, with focus on enabling them to release features with fewer bugs.
  • You will be developing tests both automated and manual within an Agile/Scrum environment
  • You will play an active part in improving our testing practices and SDLC as a member of our QE working group.
  • You will be coaching fellow team members across engineering disciplines to improve their ability to contribute to improving test coverage.
  • Autonomy & trust – You’ll have decision-making power from day one
  • Democratic team culture – Your voice matters in shaping the product and the process
  • Smart, kind teammates – Work with people who care about what they do and each other
  • Mission with impact – Help learners, educators, and organizations around the world unlock potential
  • Results Oriented. Know what you’re trying to achieve, and measure progress.
  • Proactive. Say “I intend to…” instead of waiting for permission.
  • Dependable. Commit responsibly, follow through, and be intentional and open in delegating or dropping tasks where necessary.
  • Prioritizer. Able to make high-leverage impacts on key areas.
  • Bias to Action. Find ways forward and iterate with small steps to move quickly.
  • Humble in feedback and debate. Be more like scientists, and welcome data driven debates that deliver the best possible outcome.
  • Supportive. Understand that we win or lose as a team, and support those around you.
  • Ambitious. Aim to be the best.
  • Builder. Look for opportunities to improve processes, people, teams, and everything else.
  • Great Communicator. Be succinct, create space for others to speak, and strive to benefit the atmosphere in a room.

What We're Looking For

  • Automated Testing experience using Cypress. You have extensive knowledge and experience writing automated tests for web applications using Cypress. You also have experience using similar technologies such as Mocha & Chai. Selenium and Playwright.
  • Testing expertise. You’ve created test strategies for both manual and automated tests and have a strong base of testing principles and methodologies.
  • Testing knowledge. You have knowledge of automated testing, non-functional testing, test case data management and working knowledge of accessibility and security testing and you are comfortable solving issues in accessibility and localisation.
  • Technical ability. You have experience with CI tools (in particular github) and integrations with them and a profound understanding of performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, K6, etc.
  • Team player. You are comfortable with supporting teams with manual testing as needed. Whilst you are able to independently solve difficult technical and presentational problems, you ask for help when needed.

What we Offer

  • 35 days annual vacation.
  • Generous sick time and compassionate leave to support our team members’ health needs, and physical and mental well-being.
  • Flexible hours & remote work; while we fully support digital nomads, you must be able to align with your team’s predominant time zones.
  • A high-energy, collaborative, and supportive high-growth organization backed by some of Silicon Valley's top venture capital investors.
  • Two hours per week (paid) to spend learning anything you like related to your role, plus a budget to spend on learning materials (courses, books, conferences). We love education and we believe in nurturing your growth!
  • A promise to invest in your growth personally and professionally. Wherever you would like to go and whatever you would like to do, we will be there to support you.
  • Many additional perks!
