Job summary

Irwin and Colton Limited is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer in Tewkesbury to lead quality across the manufacturing operation. This hands-on role works with Production, Engineering and customers to ensure high standards and continuous improvement.

You will head the Quality Inspection Team, own complex quality issues and drive a right-first-time, zero-defect culture at the site, with strong leadership and communication across functions.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics or high-reliability manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, audits and customer requirements.
• Proven root cause and corrective action experience.

Responsibilities

• Leading the Quality Inspection Team and driving a right-first-time culture
• Managing customer quality issues, non-conformances and corrective actions
• Supporting audits and presenting findings to customers, auditors and senior leaders
• Using quality data and KPIs to identify risks and reduce defects, rework and scrap

Would you like to join an established electronics manufacturing business in a senior Quality role where you can make a real impact on product quality, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement?

This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to take a visible leadership role across the manufacturing operation, working closely with Production, Engineering and customers to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.

You'll lead the Quality Inspection Team, take ownership of complex quality issues and have the confidence to challenge where standards are not being met, driving a strong right-first-time and zero-defect culture across the site.

Responsibilities of the Senior Quality Engineerwill include:

• Leading the Quality Inspection Team and driving a right-first-time culture
• Managing customer quality issues, non-conformances and corrective actions
• Supporting audits and presenting findings to customers, auditors and senior leaders

The successful Senior Quality Engineerwill have:

• Quality Engineering experience, ideally within electronics or high-reliability manufacturing

• Strong root cause and corrective action experience, with excellent communication and leadership skills
