Based on this momentum, we are building one of our global Engineering hubs in Manchester to complement our thriving data science and AI consulting business. We are now looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team as we build out a global Quality Engineering practice to enable our development teams to deliver high quality outcomes in a consistent and timely manner.

How will you make an impact?

• Quality Assurance Leadership: Design, create, and execute the tools and processes needed to accelerate the delivery cycle and continuously monitor and improve the quality of our cutting edge data science and AI products
• Best Practice Advocacy: Mentor engineers in technologies, quality best practices, and tools while driving a technology change to improve the quality process
• Automation Excellence: Ensure test automation is up and running and notifies engineers about any broken rules before code is merged
• AI Enhancement: Explore and implement AI-driven testing approaches to improve test coverage, efficiency, and predictive quality assessment capabilities
• Process Improvement: Minimise and eventually eliminate the need for manual testing, reducing the time to production for features or improvements
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with product teams to help them make informed decisions based on quality metrics and insights

• Technical Experience: Professional experience in software engineering with a focus on quality assurance/engineering across various testing methodologies
• Innovative Problem-Solver: Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence and manage change in how our teams develop software
• Effective Communicator: Skills to clearly articulate complex testing concepts and coach engineers in efficient testing tools and practices
• SDLC Knowledge: Understanding of the role of quality practices in the software development lifecycle
• Collaborative Approach: Ability to work effectively within diverse teams and contribute to an inclusive environment
• Educational Background: Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in software engineering, computer science or related field
