The Transpennine Route Upgrade Project (TRU) is a circa £2 billion multi-disciplinary project upgrading the existing railway route between Manchester and Leeds through the Pennines. It is the largest rail and infrastructure project in the north of England.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Site Quality Engineer at BAM Nuttall, within the TRU West Alliance, plays a crucial role in ensuring quality standards are met on-site.
