Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Quality Control Technician to perform QC testing, support timely release of products, and lead laboratory investigations. The role requires cross-functional collaboration and compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will carry out day-to-day testing of raw materials, in-process and finished products, manage lab consumables, and participate in calibration and validation activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of A level in Science or mathematics discipline (international equivalents acceptable).
• Bachelor's degree in Scientific subject is desirable.
• Experience in a GMP regulated environment.
• Working with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office).
• Experience in a quality environment in the Food, Consumer, Pharmaceutical or Medical device industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Day to day performance: physical, analytical and chemical testing of raw material, in process and finished product.
• Management of consumables and materials used in testing; cleaning of items for testing; execution of laboratory cleaning program.
• Review of internal and external testing data; liaise with approved manufacturers to ensure data availability.
• Calibration: ensure all equipment is in calibration prior to use; conduct instrument calibration per procedures.
• Validation: lead the validation of simple test methods and equipment for the QC department.
