Qualifications

  • Experience in managing a caseload of training providers.
  • Proficient in planning and delivering quality assurance audits.
  • Ability to identify non-conformances and act upon them.
  • Site Manager Safety Training Scheme qualification (or willingness to obtain once in post)
  • In-depth knowledge of educational quality assurance and auditing systems
  • Strong occupational expertise in the construction and built environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Confident handling difficult conversations and managing conflict professionally
  • D34 (V1), D35 (V2) Internal or External Verifier qualifications
  • Education to A-Level standard (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of training providers.
  • Plan, deliver, and follow up on quality assurance audits.
  • Conduct sampling of assessment, training, and testing.
  • Support training providers with advice and best practice for training, assessment, and testing
  • Assist with the onboarding and approval of new training organisations
  • Conduct sampling of assessment, training, and testing
  • Review applications from trainers, assessors, and testers in line with CITB scheme requirements
  • Deliver constructive feedback and produce clear, plain-English reports
  • Share insights and contribute to continuous improvement across the network
  • Educated to GCSE standard (Grades A–C in Maths and English)
  • Any relevant quality assurance and auditing systems knowledge
  • Education to A-Level standard (or equivalent)

Base pay range

Role: Senior Quality Consultant

Location: Mobile (with up to 1 day a week from home)

Hours of Work: Full-time (35 hours per week)

Contract: Permanent

Salary Range: (not disclosed)
