Job summary

Big World IT Solutions seeks a Mid-Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to lead API testing and automation initiatives. This role involves developing test scenarios for various applications, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to testing standards. • Design and execute comprehensive test scenarios for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Focus on API integration testing across internal and third-party systems.

• Perform manual & automation testing on Dynamics 365 CRM applications, web platforms, and mobile apps.

• Develop and maintain automated API and regression test scenarios using Postman, REST Assured.

• Structure and maintain API test repositories in Postman that are reusable, maintainable, and can be applied across multi environments.

• Contribute to automation initiatives where applicable, focusing on medium to high-risk test cases.

• Track, log, and manage defects in coordination with development teams.

• Participate in defect triage meetings and work with the team to ensure timely resolution.

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and BAs to ensure clear understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of testing standards and best practices.

• Support UAT activities and assist business teams in validating solutions before go-live.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience in both manual and automated testing.

• Strong understanding of API testing (REST, SOAP) with tools like Postman or similar.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM testing.

• Understanding of test management tools (ideally Azure DevOps for test case creation and bug tracking).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools that aid in automation and delivery.

• Ability to write clear and concise test cases and documentation.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in an agile and fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with API test automation frameworks (REST Assured or similar).

• Familiarity with performance testing (JMeter or similar tools).

• Exposure to UI automation tools (Selenium or Cypress).

• Experience in finance or fintech applications.
