Job summary

Eden Brown is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for its Water team in the Midlands. You will provide commercial and contract management on major infrastructure projects, with NEC3/NEC4 experience and strong cost control skills.

The role supports pre- and post-contract services across water, environmental, rail and nuclear projects, in a hybrid Birmingham environment, with clear career progression and RICS chartership support.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Chartered status with RICS or significant progress towards chartership.
• Strong post-graduate experience in Water/Environmental/Rail/Nuclear sectors.
• NEC3/NEC4 contract administration experience (Options A/C/E).
• Experience of Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and/or Early Subcontractor Involvement (ESI).
• Strong commercial, contractual and cost management skills.
• Risk management experience.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations.
• Previous line management or mentoring experience.
• CSCS card (Water Hygiene Card desirable).
• Experience working client-side with contractors and joint ventures.
• Ability to attend site 3 days per week; right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and contract management on major infrastructure projects.
• Pre- and post-contract activities with effective commercial control.
• Manage NEC3/NEC4 contracts and cost reporting.
• Budget management and cost forecasting.
• Tender documentation preparation and procurement support.
• Risk identification and management; dispute resolution and final accounts.
