Mitie is seeking an experienced QHSE and CDM Manager to lead safety across our Nuclear Security Contract and support large-scale infrastructure programmes. The role reports to the Divisional QHSE Director with a dotted line to the Engineering Division MD.

The successful candidate will drive CDM compliance, develop and monitor QHSE improvement plans, and act as senior CDM lead across projects while engaging with clients and leadership teams. A Developed Vetting clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Chartered IOSH member with NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent safety qualification.
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 including pre-construction information and risk assessments.
• Proven experience in a senior QHSE leadership role across multiple sites or major infrastructure programs.
• Experience with internal auditing, ISO standards, incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Experience in nuclear, civil or major infrastructure environments.
• Experience supporting tender activity and providing QHSE input into bids.

Responsabilités

• Lead development and delivery of QHSE improvement plans, assurance programmes and compliance arrangements.
• Act as senior CDM lead, advising clients and project teams while ensuring CDM compliance.
• Integrate CDM principles across the project lifecycle and prepare Health and Safety File.
• Use audits and investigations to identify risks and implement preventative improvements.
• Build relationships with clients and project teams, ensuring duties are understood and discharged.
