Job summary

Nexus Life Sciences seeks an experienced QC Validation & Systems Lead to own QC systems, equipment lifecycles and computerised platforms in a GMP laboratory.

You will lead IQ/OQ/PQ validation, calibration programs, and act as system owner for Empower and LabX, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness.

This senior on-site role combines hands-on technical leadership with line management of a small QC systems team and cross-functional audit support.

Qualifications

• Degree (BSc or equivalent) in Chemistry or related scientific discipline.
• Strong experience with HPLC in a GMP QC laboratory.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience is desirable.
• Hands-on with QC computerized systems (Empower, LabX or CDS) and CSV/Data Integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of QC laboratory equipment, including procurement, qualification, maintenance and retirement.
• Plan and execute IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities and oversee calibration programs with external providers.
• Act as system owner for QC platforms (Empower, LabX), driving CSV and data integrity.
• Maintain validation status in electronic systems (LIMS) and ensure audit readiness at all times.
• Author/approve validation docs, lead deviation investigations and CAPAs.
• Provide technical leadership and line management to a QC systems team and support audits.
