Job summary

RBW Consulting LLP in Surrey is partnering with a major pharmaceutical client to recruit a QC Manager who will oversee all site Quality Control activities, with a focus on method development oversight and team leadership.

The role requires a solid GMP-regulated laboratory background, experience with validation lifecycles, and the ability to mentor a largely new team while maintaining day-to-day operations in the lab and supporting OOS investigations and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment experience.
• Experience managing validation activities and supporting method validation programmes.
• Strong laboratory background with analytical testing oversight.
• Experience with HPLC and/or GC.
• 3+ years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead QC activities and scheduling on site.
• Oversee method development and validation lifecycle.
• Provide mentorship and develop a high-performing team.
• Coordinate with site leadership to establish best practices.
• Handle out-of-specification investigations and troubleshooting.
• Maintain equipment and supervise laboratory activities.
