Job summary

Smart4Sciences is recruiting a Quality Control Manager to lead a QC team in a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role focuses on testing, release, investigations, deviations and CAPAs.

You will ensure adherence to GMP standards, oversee method validation and transfer, and support audits, driving quality and operational excellence across the laboratory.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or related field.
• Proven experience in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical QC environments.
• Experience in leading QC teams and managing personnel.

Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced QC professional to lead a Quality Control team responsible for ensuring the testing, release, and compliance of pharmaceutical products within a highly regulated GMP environment.

The Role

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Control team
• Oversee routine QC testing and product release activities
• Review analytical data, laboratory investigations, deviations, and CAPAs
• Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory, and company quality standards
• Manage analytical method validation, transfer, and continuous improvement activities
• Support audits and maintain inspection readiness
• Prepare and review QC documentation, SOPs, and laboratory records
• Drive a culture of quality, safety, and operational excellence

The Candidate

• Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline
• Proven experience within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical QC environment
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience within Quality Control
• Strong knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, and related laboratory instrumentation
• Excellent understanding of GMP, investigations, deviations, and CAPAs
