Job summary

Alaron Products Limited, based in Nelson, NZ, is seeking an experienced Senior QC Analyst to join our team and support accurate, timely testing and compliant product release within a regulated manufacturing environment.

You will perform sampling, testing and data review across raw materials to finished goods, support deviations and CAPAs, and mentor QC staff in a GMP setting.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Science or a related discipline.
• 5–7+ years' QC analytical experience in a regulated environment.
• Demonstrated technical review, troubleshooting, investigation and mentoring capability.
• Hands-on experience with analytical laboratory techniques including UPLC/HPLC, FTIR, NIR, UV/Vis and wet chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling, sample preparation and analytical testing of raw materials, in-process, bulk, finished product, stability and investigation samples.
• Operate laboratory equipment and perform testing in accordance with approved methods, specifications and GMP requirements.
• Review analytical data, calculations and laboratory records with strong data integrity and ALCOA+ compliance.
• Support environmental monitoring, purified water testing and laboratory operations.
• Lead and support OOS/OOT, deviations, investigations, root-cause analysis and CAPAs.
• Support method transfer, verification, validation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring and competency support to QC Analysts.
• Act as a technical escalation point and provide trained business-continuity support across QC activities.

What we're looking for:
