New Zealand King Salmon is seeking staff to join our primary processing team for night shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 7pm to 3am. This fixed-term role runs until October 2028 with a potential relocation to Marlborough as operations shift.

We are looking for someone to join our primary processing team. You will be a night owl as this role is working a roster of Sunday to Thursday, 7pm to 3am. However, some flexibility is required at times due to operational requirements. Please note, with a move of our primary operations to Marlborough in the pipeline, this would be a fixed term position until October 2028.
Our primary department is where the processing of our salmon starts, our team works together ensuring we have the best product possible, and that’s where you come in. You’ll be keen to get stuck in, ready to tackle anything and be a real team player. You will be responsible for general factory duties including gilling and grading our Salmon and ensuring that our products meet quality standards.
Ideally you will have prior manufacturing experience (FMCG preferred)

Practical health & safety knowledge and experience
Eager for hands‑on work
In return you will receive a competitive hourly rate, an evening shift allowance, plus an additional 1 week’s annual leave per annum for working an evening shift.
