Miniclip is looking for a Senior QA Tester to join the Quality Assurance team in our Derby office. This is an outstanding opportunity to take on a role in quality assurance at one of the world’s top game companies. With over 250 million players each month, Miniclip connects with users across online, mobile, and social platforms — and as a Senior QA Tester, you’ll play a key part in ensuring we deliver the highest quality gaming experiences.

Please note that this is a hybrid position with at least 2 days per week from our Derby office.

What will you be doing at Miniclip?

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Lead testing efforts across multiple 1st party game titles published by Miniclip, ensuring high-quality releases across all supported platforms.
• Assist with planning and executing QA test cycles for new releases and updates, coordinating with internal teams for timely and thorough test coverage.
• Support other QA testers by providing guidance on testing best practices, issue investigation, and test planning.
• Drive continuous improvement of the QA process by evaluating current test strategies and proposing innovative tools, techniques, and documentation enhancements.
• Analyze player feedback, live data metrics, and industry benchmarks to proactively identify and address quality risks.
• Contribute to automation initiatives and help define testing pipelines where appropriate.
• Advocate for quality across the entire product lifecycle, influencing decision-making through data, domain knowledge, and critical thinking.

What are we looking for?

We’re seeking a proactive, experienced professional with a passion for games and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA and leadership experience in cross-functional environments.

• 4+ years of experience in QA/testing within the games or digital entertainment industry.
• Understanding of test planning, exploratory testing, and release validation across mobile platforms (iOS/Android).
• Excellent communication skills — able to distill complex issues and coordinate effectively across departments.

Skills and Experience

Required:

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, and bug tracking systems.
• Attention to detail and a structured approach to troubleshooting and test execution.
• Comfortable with hands-on testing on a wide range of devices (Apple, Samsung, etc.) and OS versions.
• A degree is welcome but not essential — we value hands-on experience and demonstrated ability above formal education.

Preferred:

• Exposure to CI/CD workflows, test automation frameworks, or scripting is a plus.
• Knowledge of live ops or testing at scale with real-time user data.
• Experience with Unity or similar game engines.
