Job summary

CAF Rolling Stock UK in Newport seeks a Senior Quality Technician to support the Quality Management System, coordinate audits, and drive improvement actions across the site. You will work with the Senior QMS Engineer to ensure consistent quality processes and closure of actions, contributing to a culture of continual improvement.

Qualifications

• Qualification in a technical or quality discipline is required.
• Experience executing quality assurance activities and audits.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and maintenance of the site's QMS in line with policies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and track actions to closure.
• Maintain the UK MNCR system and support action close-out.
• Monitor QMS documentation updates and communicate changes to UK teams.
• Prepare weekly, biweekly and monthly QMS status reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality in operations.
