Job summary

Sulzer is seeking an experienced QA Manager for our Leeds Advanced Pump Design and Manufacturing Facility. You will lead the Quality Assurance function across manufacturing and a global supply chain, shaping strategy, audits, and continuous improvement.

You will manage a team of 4 direct reports and influence a wider quality network of over 15 indirect reports, ensuring compliance and customer confidence in complex engineered products.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in QA within manufacturing.
• Strong supplier quality management experience.
• Experience with fabrication, machining and assembly.
• Proficient in developing and managing ITPs.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and CI methodologies.
• Effective stakeholder management and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA and Supplier Quality for Leeds facility.
• Develop quality strategies, policies and procedures.
• Manage quality team and drive performance.
• Improve supplier quality across global supply chain.
• Ensure ITPs are robust and effective.
• Lead investigations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Procurement and PM.
• Oversee audits, compliance reviews and improvements.
• Apply inspection and testing methods, including NDT where applicable.
