NRL, Blyth-based, is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to own quality assurance across large-scale mechanical and electrical installations in the UK. You will implement and maintain QA/QC procedures, review and issue handover packages, and ensure compliance with relevant standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Working closely with construction management, subcontractors and stakeholders, you will lead inspections on site, monitor defect closeouts, and contribute to weekly quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in M&E construction projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, installation, and commissioning.
• Excellent attention to detail and planning abilities.

Responsabilités

• Prepare handover inspection, testing documentation, and operation and maintenance manuals.
• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures for electrical and mechanical works throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and issue final handover packages to the client.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations during installation and inspection activities.
• Conduct on-site quality inspections and monitor the close-out of defects.
• Oversee testing processes to ensure procedures are followed accurately.
• Liaise with construction management teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors on quality matters.
• Contribute to weekly project progress reporting on quality-related activities.
