Job summary

Babcock is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for the Devonport Royal Dockyard site in Plymouth, Devon. You will ensure quality, compliance and continuous improvement across submarine support and engineering services within a highly regulated environment.

You will conduct audits, review quality plans and support actions across projects, production and supply chains, delivering expert assurance to teams, suppliers and customers. Security clearance to SC level is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Assurance within a nuclear or other highly regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and ISO 9001.
• Experience conducting product, process and supplier audits.
• Experience identifying non-conformances and driving corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product, process and supplier audits to verify quality and compliance.
• Support QA activities across projects, production operations and supply chains.
• Identify quality risks and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Review quality documentation to ensure governance and compliance.
• Provide expert QA guidance to project teams, suppliers and customers.
