Job summary

Moneybox is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join a fast-paced fintech team. You will lead testing efforts, own test strategies, and collaborate with developers, compliance, and stakeholders to ensure product quality across backend, APIs, and mobile/web applications.

The role emphasizes risk-based testing, automation, and the use of AI tools to improve efficiency while maintaining rigorous human validation. A strong leadership presence is expected within the QA function.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of broad QA experience
• Senior/Lead QA experience in a fast-paced setting
• Extensive backend testing skills including APIs, databases and migrations
• Broad automation testing experience with various techniques
• Experience testing Mobile apps and Web technologies
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to boost testing efficiency
• Ability to collaborate with senior leadership to promote quality across teams

Responsibilities

• Hands-on senior QA role, reporting to Senior QA lead
• Deliver large, complex projects as sole QA on a squad, prioritising workstreams
• Promote a quality mindset and risk-based testing over ticket-based testing
• Collaborate with stakeholders and Compliance to define testing and release strategies
• Lead cross-functional meetings (amigos, go/no-go, incidents) for outcomes
• Advocate AI tools and agents across testing lifecycle, with human validation
• Assess features for automation suitability with Engineers and Automation team
• Mentor and coach QA teammates and support department operations
• Represent Moneybox in the tech community with fresh ideas
