Job summary

TP ICAP Group in London is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead automated testing across our software platforms. You will design robust testing strategies, enhance automation frameworks, and guide teams toward best practices in quality engineering.

You will work closely with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to ensure releases meet reliability and user-experience expectations, driving quality improvements across multiple product lines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with testing complex, data-rich systems.
• Strong QA background with test planning and automation.
• Hands-on experience using Playwright for automation with TypeScript.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and version control tools.
• Solid QA methodologies, testing processes and defect management.
• Ability to translate requirements into effective test scenarios.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business and system requirements.
• Enhance and maintain automation frameworks and testing tools.
• Design, create, and execute test plans, cases, and scripts, including regression tests.
• Ensure defects are identified, documented, and resolved.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and business teams to clarify requirements.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and provide QA insights and risk assessments.
• Maintain awareness of environment changes and deploy applications.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test reliability.
• Maintain QA documentation, standards and best practices.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to QA team members.
• Leverage AI coding assistants and agentic AI to accelerate test authoring and analysis.
• Report test progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
