Job summary

Trading 212 is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to own test strategies across multiple projects. You will lead automation efforts, design robust test frameworks, and ensure high quality releases for millions of users.

You will write tests in Python or TypeScript, use Playwright or Selenium, and collaborate in agile teams to improve product reliability while shipping quickly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software quality assurance with automation testing.
• Strong testing concepts, methodologies, and tools.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Strong RDBMS knowledge.
• Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality assurance tasks for multiple projects, ensuring that the software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
• Actively participate in design and requirements reviews to ensure testability and usability of features and products.
• Lead testing efforts, including developing and maintaining automation frameworks and scripts.
• Plan, implement and execute testing tasks in different product areas - DB, integration, functional, UI/UX.
• Analyse test results to identify areas for improvement and recommend process changes as needed.
• Provide technical and process mentorship to less experienced colleagues.
• Work in compact, autonomous teams with short release cycles - we rely on agile, independent teams of sharp and driven people with just the right amount of processes to steer off anarchy and not sacrifice velocity.
