Job summary

Mortgage Advice Bureau is seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our Technology team and drive quality across a modern microservices-based platform in financial services. You’ll lead automated testing efforts spanning API, integration and UI, working with Developers, Product Owners and DevOps to embed quality across the SDLC.

This hybrid, fixed-term contract role offers 37.5 hours per week with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote, and a salary up to £55,000.

Qualifications

• Experience testing web-based applications across the SDLC.
• Strong UI automation experience (Selenium).
• API testing experience (Swagger).
• Agile/Scrum environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation across the delivery stream and define/test frameworks.
• Build and maintain automated suites for API, integration and UI testing.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable deployments.
• Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps to shift-left quality practices.
• Investigate defects, risks and testing outcomes, communicating clearly.
