Mortgage Advice Bureau is seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our Technology team and drive quality across a modern microservices-based platform in financial services. You’ll lead automated testing efforts spanning API, integration and UI, working with Developers, Product Owners and DevOps to embed quality across the SDLC.
This hybrid, fixed-term contract role offers 37.5 hours per week with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote, and a salary up to £55,000.

You’ll play a key role in shaping our approach to test automation, improving test coverage and supporting the delivery of robust, scalable and release-ready solutions. Working closely with Developers, Product Owners and DevOps Engineers, you’ll help embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle and ensure our systems continue to perform at their best.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you'll be responsible for driving quality across our technology platforms, with a particular focus on automation and quality engineering.
Working within a cross-functional Agile squad, you'll lead the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks, support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software. You'll work closely with colleagues across Engineering, Product and DevOps, helping to ensure quality is considered from the earliest stages of development through to release.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about quality engineering, enjoys working with modern technologies and is motivated by the opportunity to improve testing practices and delivery outcomes.
You’ll be a strong communicator, comfortable collaborating across technical teams and able to balance attention to detail with a pragmatic approach to delivery.
