Johnson Matthey is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to drive testing strategies across a portfolio of enterprise applications and systems. You will lead manual, exploratory, and automated testing while embedding quality throughout the SDLC and collaborating with developers, architects, and stakeholders.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in senior quality assurance or QA engineering roles in complex delivery environments.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools or frameworks and understanding of automation principles.
• Strong knowledge of testing techniques: functional, regression, integration, API, performance.
• Experience collaborating with developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to own issues and drive quality.

Pay Range: €51,000 - €63,750

The role:

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will help drive our goals by:

• Defining and delivering effective testing strategies to ensure high-quality solutions across a diverse portfolio of enterprise applications, platforms, and systems.
• Leading testing activities across multiple projects, combining manual, exploratory, and automated testing to identify risks and provide reliable feedback.
• Working closely with developers, architects, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Driving automation and continuous testing practices, helping teams improve test coverage, reduce risk, and increase confidence in releases.
• Coaching and supporting other quality engineers while promoting quality engineering best practices across teams.
• Helping shape and improve quality engineering standards, testing practices, automation frameworks, and tooling.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• 5+ years' experience in senior quality assurance, testing, or quality engineering roles within complex delivery environments.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools or frameworks and a good understanding of automation principles and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of software testing techniques, including functional, regression, integration, API, and performance testing.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across multiple projects and business areas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, investigate issues, and improve quality outcomes.
• Proven ability to take ownership, work independently, and deliver high-quality results across multiple projects.
