Job summary

Searchability is seeking a Senior QA Engineer in Newcastle upon Tyne to own automation for complex trading platforms, delivering high quality software on an onsite basis. You will work with Software Engineers, Quants and Infrastructure, building robust tests in C#, Java or Python, and frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or Cucumber.

• Commercial experience with at least one programming language (C#, Java, or Python).

THE ROLE

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring complex trading platforms are delivered into production safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Working closely with Software Engineers, Quantitative Analysts and Infrastructure teams, you'll take ownership of automation projects, develop and improve testing processes, and help engineer innovative tools and solutions.

This is an opportunity to work in a highly technical, fast-paced environment where your ideas will be valued and you'll have the freedom to challenge existing processes, introduce improvements and drive quality throughout the development lifecycle.

TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER - ESSENTIAL SKILLS
