What’s the role about?

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to enhance the quality assurance processes for Fitch Ratings' Workflow Analytical applications. You will collaborate closely with systems supporting Fitch Ratings' operations and analytical communities, gaining deep insights into the business domain while ensuring the highest standards of system and data quality.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and contribute to sophisticated automation frameworks using Selenium that are efficient, flexible, and reusable.
• Integrate test case execution and reporting within the CI/CD pipeline to support DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and users to build and refine test strategies and ensure system integrity.
• Advocate for system testability.
• Automate testing early in the development process as part of the SDET capacity, in conjunction with other engineers' efforts.

What you bring:

• 5+ years of automation testing experience, with recent expertise in Selenium and translating requirements into test cases using Python (must-have).
• Experience integrating automated testing with DevOps tools (Bamboo/Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket) and working within Scrum-based Agile teams.
• Experience with API testing.
• Exposure to event-driven services, message queues, and event brokers like Kafka.
• Proficiency in writing SQL/NoSQL queries for data validation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to deliver in complex environments.
