Senior QA Automation Engineer

Troi Search is delighted to be working exclusively with The Gym Group in their search for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join the team.

The Senior QA Engineer will play a key role in ensuring a seamless, high-quality digital experience for The Gym Group's 1 million members by leading quality assurance efforts across mobile apps and digital platforms.

You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to uphold and improve testing standards, focusing on maintaining and evolving their mobile app test automation framework built on Appium.

Key requirements:

We are looking for someone with hands-on expertise in both automation and functional exploratory testing, with strong test planning skills and a quality-first mindset. The candidate should have solid experience with key QA tools for Mobile Apps, including:

• Appium
• Playwright
• Postman (API platform)
• Confluence for test and project documentation
• Continuous Integration tools

Bonus points for experience with:

• An object-oriented programming language such as C# or Java
• Lighthouse for performance testing (scripting and CI integration)
• Sonar for security analysis (scripting and CI integration)
• Lucidchart or Miro for visual test documentation
• Jira/Confluence or similar tools for managing user stories and sprint tasks
