Senior QA Automation Engineer

Troi Search is working exclusively with The Gym Group to find a Senior QA Automation Engineer.

The role involves ensuring a high-quality digital experience for The Gym Group's 1 million members by leading quality assurance for mobile and digital platforms.

The engineer will collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain and improve testing standards, focusing on the mobile app test automation framework based on Appium.

Key requirements:

Proven hands-on expertise in automation and exploratory testing, with strong test planning skills and a quality-first approach. Experience with:

• Appium
• Playwright
• Postman (API testing platform)
• Confluence for documentation
• Continuous Integration tools

Bonus points for experience with:

• An object-oriented programming language such as C# or Java
• Lighthouse for performance testing and CI integration
• Sonar for security analysis and CI integration
• Lucidchart or Miro for visual test documentation
• Jira/Confluence or similar tools for managing user stories and sprints
