Job summary

Medtronic in London is seeking a software engineer to help build and maintain a SaaS tool for project, data, and annotations management using Python. You will collaborate with data and platform engineers to handle growing data volumes and ensure production-grade code quality.

The role requires experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), plus familiarity with Kanban/Scrum. You will commute to London two days per week to support rapid, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in a relevant field with 2–3 years of professional experience.
• Production-grade Python experience with focus on delivering high-quality code.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development and maintenance of the SaaS tool (Python codebase) for project, data and annotations management.
• Work with data and platform engineers to develop efficient processes for accessing and handling increasing volumes of data.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define software requirements and validate features in a fast-paced, iterative environment driven by quality.
