Qualifications

• Experience in startups or small engineering teams.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to operate with ambiguity.
• Based in/around Edinburgh, fully remote day-to-day with occasional local catch-ups.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build backend services, APIs, domain boundaries, and ingestion workflows.
• Guide AI-assisted coding practices and standards for agent-generated code.
• Pursue a path to ownership with high-visibility domain leadership.
