Intec Select Limited is seeking a Python Engineer to join the tech team on an initial 6-month contract, with hybrid working in London (2 days on-site per week). You will develop backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Python, collaborating across product, architecture and QA teams.

The role requires strong Python/Django REST Framework experience, API design skills, and familiarity with relational databases and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience as a backend software engineer.
• Experience with Python and Django REST Framework.
• Proficient in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend services using Python
• Develop robust RESTful APIs and backend integrations
• Build Python-based microservices and components
• Design solutions that integrate with databases and third-party services
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, QA and other engineering teams
• Write clean, well-tested Python code and participate in code reviews
• Contribute to backend architecture and API design decisions
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, integration and production issues
