Job summary

Intec Select Limited in London is seeking a Python Developer to join their technology team on an initial 6‑month contract.

You will build and maintain customer-facing and internal platforms with a Python backend, designing and consuming RESTful APIs while collaborating with product, QA and other engineers in a hybrid London setting with 2 days on-site.

Focus is on delivering clean, tested code and scalable services, with exposure to cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience as a Software Developer with Python (Django).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and API design.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable working in an agile environment.
• Must be able to work on-site in London 2 days per week and 6-month duration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain full stack web applications with a Python backend
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs
• Work across both backend services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA and other engineers
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code review
• Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making within the team
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack in a production environment
