Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment partners with a global AI & SaaS specialist in London to recruit a Senior Python Engineer focused on infrastructure automation. You will tackle complex platform engineering challenges and deliver production-quality code that speeds and stabilises deployments.

Hybrid role with two on-site days per week, offering £75k base plus 8% bonus, 10% pension and private healthcare. Grow with modern AWS and automation tech in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years commercial experience with Python.
• Experience with Terraform and IaC.
• Knowledge of building CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Building automation frameworks and tooling using Python.
• Developing Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform.
• Creating reusable templates and code generation platforms using Jinja/Jinja2.
• Automating Windows environments through PowerShell.
• Managing and improving configuration management with Puppet.
• Building CI/CD integrations for infrastructure delivery.
• Working closely with cloud, platform and engineering teams to improve automation and operational efficiency.
• Driving infrastructure standardisation, reliability and scalability across complex environments.
