Intec Select Limited is seeking a Python Engineer for a London-based hybrid role on an initial 6-month contract. The role focuses on hands-on backend development, RESTful APIs and microservices with a Python stack.

You will design and maintain scalable backend services, collaborate with product and architecture teams, and contribute to API design and production issue resolution. Hybrid work is available with on-site two days weekly.

Qualifikationen

• Significant backend development experience in Python.
• Experience with Django and Django REST Framework.
• Strong RESTful API design and integration skills.
• Experience building microservices.
• Solid PostgreSQL or MySQL experience.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD and Agile practices.

Aufgaben

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend services using Python.
• Develop robust RESTful APIs and backend integrations.
• Build and maintain Python-based microservices and service components.
• Design solutions that integrate with internal platforms, databases and third-party services.
• Work closely with Product, Architecture, QA and other engineering teams.
• Write clean, well-tested and maintainable Python code and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to backend architecture, API design and technical decision-making.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, integration and production issues.
